I'll see if I can get some numbers on the casino from Mr Geoff.

What do you think - too big to fail ?

No fail

RCCL knows what they are doing and I don't think this will be a failure.

I am going there for inauguration. Will be great.

Casino numbers

Grant at RCCL got back to me and here are the details...

20,000 Sq ft gaming floor.
For those who like working in metrics that's approximately 1,850 sq mt.
440 slots and 27 tables. 40+ dealers.

So with slots staff, cashiers & management that's probably going to be approaching 70 (?) in total.

Nice Pics

For anyone who is interested, I've got a couple of nice pics of that monster docked at St.Maarten.

I 've worked on a couple of the of ships nearby (or at least the same class), and thought that they were pretty big at the time....

Thumbs up Thanks for the pic's

That's St. Maarten ?

Where exactly is the port Tofu, my memories of the Island are getting a little hazy these days.

Interesting that 2 of the ships are being refuelled - must be cheaper for them to do the business there than in Miami.

Philipsburg I guess?

Hi Ian,

The last time I was at St.Maarten myself, there was only one pier, which is probably how you remember it too.... but it must be the main port a little ways from Philipsburg, just with a new pier added.

These pics were emailed to me by a friend some time ago, so I can't say for sure...
